Requirements

- Bring practical familiarity with OpenTelemetry standards.
- Understand vendor-agnostic instrumentation techniques.
- Have a deep understanding of distributed systems architecture.
- Be able to diagnose platform behaviour under high load.
- Have an interest in artificial intelligence tooling, intelligent operational workflows, and data model automation.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and share knowledge.
- Take ownership of complex reliability challenges from design through execution.
Responsibilities
- Build standardised data pipelines and telemetry layer architectures for intelligent development workflows.
- Implement OpenTelemetry standards and vendor-agnostic instrumentation across distributed applications.
- Drive platform efficiency and cost optimisation across cloud systems.
- Monitor performance metrics across cloud systems.
- Design automated alerting to streamline incident investigation.
- Develop reliability scorecards for system health tracking.
