Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience in a production environment.
- Expert programming skills in Java, the Spring framework ecosystem, and reactive programming.
- Proficiency in modern Web, Java, and Java EE platforms.
- Experience with Web and Application Server design and RESTful Web Services design.
- Practical experience with messaging platforms and event-driven architectures, specifically NATS.
- Proficiency in software development best practices, including ATDD/BDD and automated unit testing.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating robust APIs.
- Nice to have: frontend development experience with JavaScript and Angular or DXP platforms.
- Nice to have: experience with Drools, relational databases such as Oracle, or microservices in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Execute and own baseline architecture implementations and technical design activities with the engineering team.
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable full-stack software solutions in a high-throughput production environment.
- Design, implement, and consume web services, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems, including NATS.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and apply engineering best practices, including ATDD/BDD methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business rules and configuration data requirements for cross-border processing into technical solutions.
- Integrate frontend interfaces with reactive backend architectures, ensuring end-to-end performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.
