Requirements
- 6+ years of experience shipping high-quality, scalable software systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in system and relational database design.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
- Experience guiding technical teams developing applications with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Prior experience in AI/ML, natural language processing, or building agent-based systems.
- Experience working in an early-stage, fast-paced, product-oriented environment.
- Ability to translate user needs into high-quality technical solutions.
- Track record of delivering elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Define and guide technical direction by designing, building, and scaling the technology that underpins Pomelo’s success.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor to fellow engineers.
- Write exemplary code, ship high-impact features, and architect scalable systems.
- Drive the technical direction and architecture of complex, distributed systems for personalized, data-driven clinical care.
- Design and build AI-powered agents that make clinicians more efficient and effective.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance while fostering continuous learning.
- Partner with product and clinical leadership to shape technical strategy and identify impactful opportunities.
