Requirements
- Demonstrate strong programming ability in Rust.
- Have strong knowledge of backend service design, APIs, data systems, and concurrency.
- Understand production software architecture and how to evaluate backend systems for correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Have practical proficiency with Rust in substantial professional, research, or open-source software.
- Be available for approximately 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
- Submit at least the required minimum number of tasks per week.
Responsibilities
- Solve and validate Rust backend problems involving service behavior, APIs, persistence, concurrency, performance, and reliability.
- Translate functional requirements, performance targets, and failure-handling expectations into reproducible implementation and testing workflows.
- Prepare Rust crate workspaces, configuration files, test fixtures, dependency services, databases, and containerized environments.
