  • Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in humanitarian immigration cases, including VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, or family-based cases.
  • Have experience taking declarations and drafting legal documents.
  • Have basic knowledge of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows.
  • Write clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Have strong written drafting, grammar, syntax, and legal-style skills.
  • Communicate with clients clearly, empathetically, and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Learn new processes, workflows, and legal concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and take client declarations.
  • Prepare legal packets, including cover letters, correspondence, and forms, using templates and case details.
  • Research and gather information.
  • Learn and apply internal processes.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Collaborate with the team.
