Requirements
- Approximately 7–15 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years implementing enterprise software solutions.
- Experience leading technical or functional workstreams on implementation projects.
- Strong experience designing and implementing Guidewire solutions, particularly PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Expertise in enterprise application architecture, technical standards, and integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles, application architecture patterns, and database technologies.
- Solid experience with Java/J2EE and enterprise application development, including multi-tier web application environments.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, web services, integration patterns, and data exchange mechanisms.
- Ability to perform scripting, programming, and configuration in complex, multi-tier application environments.
- Understanding of enterprise application security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainable solution design.
- Ability to lead technical workstreams, make architectural decisions, mentor development teams, and guide implementation and delivery.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and ability to assess technical trade-offs.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise platforms is valuable; familiarity with Guidewire SaaS solutions and migration projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Digital, Guidewire Integration Gateway, Spring, and Apache Camel is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely from India and accommodate working hours of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire solutions, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Define integration strategies connecting Guidewire applications with enterprise systems through APIs, web services, and data exchange protocols.
- Establish technical direction and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
- Work with clients, business partners, product stakeholders, architects, developers, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure application architectures meet requirements for security, scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Design integrations that account for infrastructure, application dependencies, compatibility, data flows, and operational requirements.
- Provide architectural oversight, technical planning, implementation support, and governance for complex enterprise applications.
- Lead technical discussions and architecture workshops with clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor developers and technical teams, share architectural practices, and support collaboration across functions.
- Evaluate Guidewire technologies, cloud capabilities, and integration frameworks, and recommend improvements to applications and delivery practices.
