Requirements
- Have 5–7 years of marketing experience, including experience managing a marketing team.
- Demonstrate success designing and implementing marketing campaigns, including growing results from a small budget.
- Know marketing automation, SEO, web analytics, and email marketing.
- Understand the U.S. political landscape and translate that knowledge into relevant messaging and positioning.
- Be familiar with SaaS products and business models and translate software offerings into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Have experience leading event marketing as a growth channel and converting conferences, sponsorships, and hosted events into qualified pipeline and revenue in partnership with Sales.
- Be comfortable giving timely feedback and focusing on metrics and ROI.
- Know HubSpot and Webflow.
- Be organized and demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
- Learn new systems and processes quickly and be comfortable owning and improving them.
- Expect some light travel.
Responsibilities
- Craft messaging and value propositions that resonate with target customers.
- Own event marketing strategy in partnership with Sales and the events team.
- Develop and implement a marketing plan that builds sales opportunities and brand awareness tied to revenue.
- Manage the marketing budget and evaluate return on marketing spend.
- Set short- and long-term goals for demand generation and top-of-funnel pipeline.
- Monitor and iterate on marketing campaigns based on performance.
- Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources.
- Conduct market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and track competitor activity.
- Educate customers on the platform and services.
- Manage a team of marketing professionals and partner with the VP of Sales.
