Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience working on AI, ML, DevTools, Data, or other technical products.
- Enjoy iterating on and perfecting detailed workflows.
- Have a lived understanding of developers’ needs and an interest in improving their relationships with their tools.
- Be able to build and facilitate relationships with non-designers to execute on a shared product vision.
- Have experience working with engineers on a technical product.
- Have experience contributing to or managing design systems.
- Familiarity with developer experience is a bonus.
- Basic coding experience or experience using a terminal is a bonus.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or designing AI tools is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype product experiences for Warp using Figma in collaboration with engineering, product, and growth teams.
- Iterate on existing features to improve ergonomics, cognitive load, workflow friction, design pattern consistency, and comprehension.
- Craft new product features from idea and UX through pixel-perfect execution.
- Contribute to and help manage Warp’s design system, ensuring implementation meets specification.
- Use Warp to ship UI nits, bugs, and modifications to production.
- Test designs with the internal team and developer community.
- Drive the product forward as both a designer and product thinker.
