Requirements
- Have 3-5 years of hands-on data conversion or migration experience for Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM).
- Demonstrate expert-level SQL and PL/SQL proficiency for complex data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Have experience leading technical data conversion activities through multiple project lifecycles.
- Have hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud data loading tools, including HSDL and HDL.
- Understand ETL principles and the data migration lifecycle from analysis through post-go-live support.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical data conversion strategy and create source-to-target mapping documents for complex data objects.
- Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, and ETL processes to transform and cleanse legacy data into Oracle Cloud-compatible formats, including FBDI and HDL.
- Own data-load cycles, including mock cycles, dress rehearsals, and production cutover.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, data errors, and performance bottlenecks during conversion.
- Design data validation and reconciliation processes and develop scripts and reports to verify post-load accuracy and completeness.
- Mentor junior data conversion developers, conduct code reviews, and establish team best practices.
- Partner with functional leads, business analysts, and client SMEs to interpret data requirements, define transformation logic, and support data cleansing.
