Have 4-6 years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering.
Have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and quality metrics.
Have programming proficiency in Java for designing and maintaining automated tests.
Have hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, or SoapUI, or equivalent testing frameworks.
Have experience using AI-assisted testing and quality tools, including test case generation, defect analysis, or exploratory testing.
Balance AI-generated insights with engineering judgment and risk-based testing decisions.
Retain accountability for test design, correctness, security, and maintainability when using AI tools.
Have experience validating authentication and authorization flows through API and integration tests.
Be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and shift-left testing approaches.
Have basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and application servers such as Tomcat.
Be able to configure, validate, and troubleshoot test environments.
Have strong written and verbal English communication skills for cross-geography and cross-functional collaboration.

Create and maintain functional, regression, and integration test plans.
Design and maintain test cases with traceability to requirements and story cards.
Develop and maintain automated regression test suites.
Use AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test design, improve coverage, and identify edge cases.
Execute functional, regression, and nonfunctional testing; document defects and collaborate with the scrum team on resolution.
Coordinate test planning and execution across multiple environments.
Produce and communicate quality metrics and risk assessments, and provide input to release readiness.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and other scrum team members to ensure test coverage for new or changed functionality.
Participate in estimation, sizing, scrum ceremonies, and early solution design discussions.
