Requirements
- Have 5+ years of industry experience developing commercial mobile applications across iOS, Android, or both platforms.
- Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Bring advanced experience with native mobile development technologies, including Swift and Kotlin.
- Have experience with native mobile frameworks, libraries, application architecture patterns, and platform development best practices.
- Have experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and back-end services.
- Be proficient with Git and modern mobile software development workflows.
- Have experience contributing to code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical guidance for other engineers.
- Demonstrate the ability to use AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy features across core iOS and Android applications.
- Lead code reviews and architectural reviews for mobile features developed by other team members.
- Ensure the performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product management to refine concepts and deliver mobile experiences.
- Execute experiments and A/B tests to improve customer and business outcomes.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, application defects, and technical issues across mobile platforms.
- Develop and maintain code quality standards and promote consistent engineering practices across the mobile codebase.
- Introduce architectural improvements and refactor code to improve scalability, maintainability, and developer efficiency.
- Write and maintain automated tests at the appropriate architectural level.
