Requirements
- Have a background and experience in Operations Research or Optimization.
- Know linear and integer programming and constrained optimization.
- Be able to interpret a P&L and translate it into variables, costs, and objective functions.
- Have advanced Python skills, including experience with optimization libraries such as PuLP, Pyomo, or OR-Tools.
- Have solid foundations in statistics and modeling.
- Have hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Be able to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with survival models, CLV, or econometrics is a plus.
- Experience in retail or consumer goods (CPG) is a plus.
- Experience developing agents or agentic infrastructure, such as Mosaic AI Agent Framework, agent orchestration, or MCP, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Formalize the trade-off between service time or RTM cost and revenue per point of sale in an optimization function.
- Model cost and profitability factors, including visit drivers, RTM Size thresholds, and minimum margin.
- Build and solve optimization models to determine the optimal service model for each customer.
- Develop the Characterization pillars—Channel, Size, Potential, Territorial Profile, and Digital Autonomy—and support their multi-country expansion.
- Interpret the P&L end-to-end and translate it into decision variables, costs, and objective functions.
- Document assumptions and validate results with business and finance stakeholders.
- Develop analyses, features, and models on Databricks in collaboration with Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers.
- Promote modeling, reproducibility, and documentation best practices across the team.
