Requirements
- 3+ years running production infrastructure in systems administration, IT operations, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Linux administration experience and a methodical troubleshooting approach.
- AWS fundamentals including EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC networking, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience, such as Terraform, and scripting in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with Docker and running containerized services in production.
- Experience running relational and/or NoSQL databases in production, including backups, restores, and upgrades.
- Good operational judgment, including testing changes, following review processes, and knowing when to escalate.
- Regular hands-on use of AI tools for technical work and the judgment to validate their output.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-assisted workflows for alert triage, incident summaries, root-cause analysis drafts, and runbook upkeep.
- Use AI coding agents to write and refactor infrastructure code and scripts, testing and reviewing changes before production.
- Set up access controls, audit logging, and approvals for internal AI agents and production changes.
- Run and improve Linux servers and AWS infrastructure for live games.
- Carry out upgrades, patching, and migrations to containers or managed services while minimizing player disruption.
- Support Docker and ECS services and their deployment pipelines.
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
- Maintain MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Memcached services, including backups, restore tests, upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.
- Join the on-call rotation, handle triage and escalation, and contribute to incident reviews.
- Support company IT and security, automate recurring requests, and identify AWS cost savings.
