Job Details

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a strong grounding in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrate strong mastery of Algebra through Calculus.
  • Have a solid understanding of Statistics and Probability.
  • Be able to teach and clearly explain advanced math concepts.
  • Have experience with at least one advanced or international math curriculum, such as AP, IB, SAT, ACT, IGCSE, GCSE, or Singapore Math.
  • Have experience training tutors or teachers, not only students.
  • Bring instructional presence and adult learning skills.
  • Be able to break down complex concepts into structured, teachable frameworks.
  • Have experience observing, evaluating, and improving teaching performance.
  • Have experience developing curriculum and assessments.
  • Be able to design structured learning paths and certification frameworks.
  • Be familiar with EdTech platforms, LMS tools, or online training environments.
  • Be able to work a five-day week with two rest days; flexible hours may be required, with a focus on a mid-shift starting at 12NN or 1PM.
  • Have a desktop or laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen) and at least 8GB RAM, internet speed of at least 25 Mbps with a backup connection, and backup power for at least 8 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver live training sessions to prepare online tutors for math levels from Primary to High School.
  • Equip tutors with pedagogical skills for teaching math concepts to diverse learners online.
  • Design practical math training modules, learning paths, and curriculum-mapped guides.
  • Build scalable training materials, including mock lessons and problem sets.
  • Evaluate tutor readiness through teaching demos, live simulations, and assessments.
  • Establish certification criteria for tutors before they begin teaching.
  • Maintain pedagogical quality and mathematical accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Account Managers to analyze training outcomes and improve tutor performance.
