Requirements
- Have at least one year of experience instructing in an adult learning environment, preferably in a contact center, customer service, or related industry.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in Instructional Design, English, or a related discipline.
- Have virtual online experience in blogging or teaching.
- Be able to build rapport in an online virtual environment.
- Demonstrate presentation and facilitation skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Word.
- Be available to work any shift, seven days a week.
- Be able to understand Standard Operating Procedures and know when to ask for guidance.
- Be able to adapt and implement changes on the fly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing training in customer service, sales, client product knowledge, and company policies and procedures.
- Train and facilitate in virtual environments using Adobe Connect or a similar platform, as well as in brick-and-mortar settings.
- Partner with clients on curriculum design and modification, and develop supporting materials.
- Prepare lesson plans and course agendas for each training class.
- Plan and implement activities and incentives to engage trainees.
- Conduct proficiency evaluations and certify trainees for assigned programs.
- Deliver nesting or on-the-job training and conduct refresher and cross-training modules.
- Work with supervisors and management to develop associates and support their performance and retention.
- Support operations or take phone calls when business needs require.
