Requirements
- Have 6+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
- Bring expert SQL skills.
- Have experience with modern data and BI tools and ERP/planning systems, such as Snowflake, dbt, Sigma or Tableau, NetSuite, and Adaptive.
- Have experience using AI tools such as Claude to speed up analysis, automate reporting, or make insights self-serve for business teams.
- Have experience with POS, loyalty, or digital ordering data.
- Have experience with experiment design.
- Bring strong commercial acumen and an understanding of P&L drivers.
- Python or R experience is a plus.
- Hospitality, retail, or food and beverage experience is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Set the data and analytics roadmap, partnering with Engineering on infrastructure, KPI definitions, and a single source of truth.
- Drive the organization’s AI reporting and analytics agenda using tools such as Claude.
- Lead guest analytics across the app, ordering, subscriptions, and loyalty, connecting digital and in-cafe behavior.
- Build dashboards and tools for Cafe Operations to track sales, traffic, labor, and speed of service.
- Partner with Digital & Product to design and evaluate A/B tests for features, offers, and personalization.
- Analyze menu mix, pricing, and launch performance to shape product decisions.
- Support planning, forecasting, and business cases with data-driven recommendations for senior leaders.
