Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in revenue cycle, insurance follow-up, claims processing, or medical billing is preferred.
- Have remote work experience.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Adhere to HIPAA and company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform follow-up status requests by telephone, internet, and/or fax.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Scan, consolidate, and index documents.
- Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.
- Maintain working knowledge of internal policies and client systems and credentials.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
