Requirements
- Have 1–3+ years of relevant technical experience in Technical Operations, Systems Analysis, Data QA, Software QA, or Workflow Automation.
- Have direct responsibility for building, troubleshooting, and maintaining data-driven processes.
- Write performant SQL beyond basic queries, including CTEs and window functions, and have experience with query optimization.
- Have foundational familiarity with Python or scripting for data manipulation.
- Have practical experience with workflow engines, API integrations, or orchestration platforms such as n8n, Workato, Make, or Retool, or equivalent native workflow tools.
- Apply QA practices that account for edge cases, monitoring, rollback plans, and system dependencies.
- Use LLM tools to parse unstructured error strings, structure disparate datasets, and validate logic.
- Communicate technical topics with software engineers and explain operational impacts to business partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain automated operational workflows using orchestration platforms and custom scripting.
- Define workflow test cases and validate release readiness.
- Monitor regression risks and failure queues, and refactor or deprecate legacy workflows.
- Use SQL and Python to investigate logs and database tables, identify failure patterns, and isolate edge cases.
- Execute root-cause fixes on failed transactions.
- Use LLM tools for structured data parsing, regex generation, error-log classification, and operational investigation.
- Partner with engineering and operational stakeholders to translate process requirements into scalable technical implementations.
- Use data-backed technical arguments to challenge existing processes.
