Requirements
- Bring 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Have experience across backend development (C# or similar) and frontend development (React or similar).
- Bring 5+ years of experience shipping pragmatic SaaS solutions to production.
- Have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have hands-on experience deploying and operating services in Kubernetes, including containerization, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Be proficient with relational and/or distributed data stores such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, or Clickhouse.
- Demonstrate mentorship and technical leadership skills, including the ability to guide and challenge senior developers.
- Be able to explain tradeoffs, document patterns, and build trust across Engineering, Product, and UX.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related field.
- Nice to have: experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Argo.
- Nice to have: experience with secure systems in high-security or regulated environments.
- Nice to have: familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Nice to have: familiarity with domain-driven design, modular architecture, or extensible frontend architectures.
Responsibilities
- Shape the architectural foundation for the company's SaaS products.
- Help create a cohesive frontend platform that unites multiple SaaS products into a scalable application.
- Design reusable UI frameworks.
- Modernize legacy codebases.
- Prototype ideas and validate new engineering patterns.
- Guide engineering teams toward better patterns, tooling, and practices.
- Mentor and challenge senior developers.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers.
