Job Details

Languages: Strong English skills - written and spoken; brief conversation in English and Polish to verify working-level proficiency in both.
Required Skills: DockerSQLJavaSpring BootCI/CDRESTful APIs

Have Java experience from academic work, personal projects, or commercial work.
Understand object-oriented design principles and be able to make design decisions.
Have basic backend development knowledge, including REST APIs, HTTP, relational databases, and SQL.
Be able to read, understand, and work with code you did not write.
Have strong written and spoken English skills.
Be self-organized and communicate proactively in a remote-work setting.
Spring or Spring Boot experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD concepts is a plus.
Experience with Maven or Gradle is a plus.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude as a development aid is a plus.

Develop and maintain backend systems primarily in Java, using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases.
Navigate and contribute to multiple codebases, including greenfield and legacy projects.
Take on occasional assignments involving Node.js or Python when client work calls for it.
Use AI tools as part of the development workflow.
Gain awareness of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and deployments.
Collaborate with the team, communicate progress proactively, and flag blockers early.
Participate in agile processes with short iterations and quick feedback loops.
