Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or computer engineering.
- Have professional experience developing backend systems using Java, Python, and/or C++.
- Have strong experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and infrastructure automation.
- Have expertise in backend service development and web API architecture.
- Have hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have experience designing and operating distributed systems in production environments.
- Have strong Linux systems knowledge and infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
- Have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Be familiar with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
- Understand networking fundamentals and backend security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to API unification, simulation data management, and scripting improvements.
- Collaborate with EM and infrastructure teams on simulation-specific solutions, including back-end and scheduler integrations and Python front-end functionality.
- Improve task pipelines by designing web APIs for a multi-physical simulation context.
- Develop and maintain hybrid cloud compute and storage solutions that integrate on-premise HPC systems with cloud platforms.
- Optimize and manage high-performance computing clusters equipped with high-speed interconnects.
