Requirements
- Have 2+ years of relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automation.
- Understand software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and/or automated testing.
- Have experience writing test cases and automating them for sanity and in-depth testing, including boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or have equivalent experience.
- Be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
- Nice to have: experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Nice to have: experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Nice to have: experience with TestRail or similar test case management software.
- Nice to have: experience with functional test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, or Playwright; Playwright is preferred.
- Nice to have: experience with SaaS and Agile development, remote teams, or the Health Sciences and Life Sciences industry.
Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases or scripts, and bug reports that assess quality and associated risk.
- Automate features to improve regression coverage.
- Triage or assist with triaging automation results.
- Develop deep expertise in the product.
- Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules and timelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and quality engineers in an Agile team environment.
- Participate in architecture- and code-level discussions during design and implementation reviews.
- Provide technical quality expertise in functional areas and influence product quality decisions.
- Provide technical leadership to junior teammates and conduct proof-of-concept work with recommendations.
- Work with quality management to develop and roll out processes across the organization.
