Requirements
- Have 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles; relevant coursework, personal projects, or internships are welcome for entry-level candidates.
- Have advanced English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
- Bring foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOIN logic, standard aggregations, and CASE WHEN conditional logic.
- Use Python and pandas for data cleaning, manipulation, processing, and complex multi-step transformations.
- Be familiar with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels for predictive or statistical matching models.
- Have experience cleaning, parsing, filtering, and pattern matching messy text fields.
- Understand relational database design, including table relationships, primary and foreign keys, and data normalization.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, with database management or quantitative data analysis coursework.
Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries against relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
- Develop, run, and validate machine learning, predictive, or statistical matching models.
- Slice, unpivot, and aggregate transactional or panel data to calculate business metrics.
- Build and maintain structured data tables and views for tracking reports and stakeholder dashboards.
- Review query outputs and audit data and logic for accuracy and integrity.
- Use conditional logic and filtering to segment data and tracking cohorts.
- Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured or semi-structured text data.
- Translate technical data structures and query results into written summaries, bullet points, or data tables for stakeholders.
