Requirements
- Hold a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Have strong professional or research experience in machine learning.
- Have practical proficiency with Python.
- Have experience using coding agents in a Python workflow.
- Be available for approximately 15 hours per week.
- Be ready to begin immediately and start the first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate machine-learning models.
- Develop and validate training pipelines and inference systems.
- Develop supporting infrastructure.
- Implement model components, data pipelines, evaluation systems, and numerical methods.
- Build reproducible programmatic workflows using Python and command-line tools.
- Create, solve, review, and validate challenging machine-learning engineering tasks.
- Optimize memory or throughput and debug numerical or system-level failures.
- Verify implementations against objective correctness and performance requirements.
