Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8 years of product management experience, focused on data, analytics, or AI products.
- Track record of launching successful data- or AI-powered products.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, data engineering, and analytics platforms.
- Experience managing distributed or international scrum teams; New Zealand or similar time zones preferred.
- Experience with insurance carriers or in insurance technology is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel for onsite discovery and client engagement.
- Experience in the insurance or automotive sector is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy for Data & AI solutions in the insurance vertical.
- Lead ideation, development, and launch of data-driven and AI-powered features and products.
- Manage a New Zealand scrum team and align delivery with product goals and timelines.
- Lead onsite discovery sessions with insurance carriers and partners to identify opportunities and validate concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
- Develop and prioritize product roadmaps, requirements, and go-to-market plans.
- Drive adoption and engagement with insurance carriers using data insights.
- Measure product success using KPIs, user feedback, and business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
