Requirements
- Have 2+ years of insurance account management experience.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Be proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
- Adapt to new computer functions and processes.
- Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
- Be self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Use proactive problem-solving.
- Be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers, Producers, and other internal employees in meeting client expectations and service standards.
- Process account changes, check them for consistency, and document them in Applied Epic.
- Build client relationships through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Explain coverage terms, program options, and other insurance-related items to clients as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support cohesive and timely service execution.
- Prioritize workload and client service requests while managing service parameters.
- Maintain accurate client data, including policy details, activities, attachments, and agent or broker details.
- Document client and carrier conversations, take appropriate action, and follow up as requested.
- Develop effective working relationships with Producers, Account Managers, service team members, managers, carriers, and other departments.
