Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Have 3+ years building and supporting custom applications using App Engine Studio.
- Have 3+ years working within Agile or sprint-based delivery models.
- Bring experience with server-side scripting, including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Demonstrate proficiency with GlideRecord, query optimization, and transactional logic.
- Have experience with Flow Designer, reusable actions, subflows, and orchestration patterns.
- Understand ACL design, role hierarchy, and access evaluation order.
- Have experience designing and supporting Configurable Workspace and UI Builder-based experiences.
- Have familiarity with Platform Analytics, including indicators, breakdowns, and dashboards.
- Have experience with REST-based integrations and JSON data exchange.
- Preferred education: bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), and ITIL 4 Foundation or equivalent ITSM experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements across multiple environments.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications for stability, performance, and upgrade compatibility.
- Review and approve development work for compliance with platform standards and security requirements.
- Support platform upgrades and resolve development-related issues introduced by new releases.
- Contribute to platform documentation, architectural decisions, and operational runbooks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term corrective solutions.
- Participate in change review and release governance processes.
