Requirements
- Have a minimum of two years' experience translating and reviewing content in patent fields.
- Have native fluency in the target language.
- Hold a degree in linguistics or translation, or have equivalent experience.
- Be able to translate, copy edit, and perform machine translation post-editing.
- Have experience with patent content in electricity, computer science, or chemistry.
- Be available to start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Translate patent-related content from English into Estonian while conveying the original meaning clearly to the target audience.
- Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
- Copy edit patent content.
- Conduct quality control (QC) on translation work.
- Follow translation-process instructions.
- Use the specified CAT and QC tools as instructed.
- Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.
