Requirements
- Demonstrated experience contributing to and extending existing code repositories in a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control practices.
- Clear, consistent communication skills and comfort working closely with a distributed team.
- Depth in at least one of database development and SQL, front-end/application development, ETL and data pipeline development, or machine learning.
- Working familiarity with the other listed development areas.
- Comfort working across tasks scoped by the team rather than a single fixed role.
- Experience with Google BigQuery, SAP, or similar enterprise data platforms is a plus where relevant to assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Extend and maintain code in existing repositories according to established patterns and conventions.
- Follow Git practices for branching, commits, code review, and merges.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions with the broader team.
- Build data pipelines that integrate and transform data from sources such as Google BigQuery and SAP.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and database structures for operational and analytical workloads.
- Build front-end interfaces, backend features, and administrative functionality for internal applications.
- Build and maintain scheduled jobs that automate application or data processes.
- Support machine learning models for computer vision and forecasting by preparing data and features.
