Requirements
- Fluent English (B2 to C1), verbal and written, for global interaction.
- Proven experience designing dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
- Hands-on Snowflake development, including architecture, performance tuning, role-based access control, and end-to-end implementations.
- Experience building and optimizing Power BI semantic models, DAX, Power Query, and enterprise-grade reports connected to a cloud data warehouse.
- Hands-on experience with production data integration pipelines; Azure Data Factory is preferred, and equivalent experience with other cloud platforms is considered.
- Familiarity with standardized ingestion frameworks.
- Advanced SQL and Python for pipelines and automation.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders on requirements gathering, workshops, co-creation, and solution validation.
- Solid experience working in agile teams and participating in their ceremonies.
- Nice to have: Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices for database change promotion.
- Nice to have: understanding of SAP data structures and extraction patterns, and CPG supply chain data.
- Nice to have: sell-in, sell-out, and retail or market research data experience; SnowPro or Azure Data Engineer Associate certifications; conversational Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Design dimensional and enterprise data models, including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys, and data marts.
- Build and tune Snowflake structures using architecture, performance, and role-based access control best practices.
- Build and optimize Power BI semantic models with DAX and Power Query connected to the cloud data warehouse.
- Develop enterprise-grade reports and migrate existing reports to the new data foundation.
- Improve current dashboards and propose new dashboards based on supply chain data and business needs.
- Build and monitor data integration pipelines with Python and orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory.
- Gather requirements, lead workshops, and validate solutions with client management and product leadership.
- Work in agile teams and participate in team ceremonies to deliver in short cycles.
