Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience building robust backend services and REST or streaming APIs.
- Hands-on LLM application development experience, including tool or function calling, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector search, and prompt and evaluation design.
- Solid SQL and data-engineering skills.
- Experience extracting structured data from unstructured PDF, Word, and Excel documents.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Git-based CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform.
- Advanced or bilingual English (C1+).
- Ability to communicate clearly and work directly with non-technical business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrations for data sources and internal applications.
- Build document-processing pipelines for first-party research, including parsing, chunking, metadata and entity tagging, embeddings, and RAG.
- Develop Snowflake plug-ins and data access layers using SQL, Snowpark, or Cortex.
- Ensure data entitlements, security, and governance in data access layers.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform on AWS.
- Ship production-grade services, including APIs, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
- Partner with investment, risk, and operations users to turn workflows into AI tools.
- Continuously evaluate AI tool output quality.
