Requirements
- Have 5–7 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role managing software engineering projects.
- Have previous experience reporting to a Founder or senior leadership team.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, and project management tools.
- Bring hands-on technical expertise in software development, programming languages, and frameworks.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in small, high-growth scale-up organizations is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, or online travel agencies is advantageous.
- Project Management or Agile certifications are advantageous.
- Exposure to the company's technology stack is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Track and report project progress, mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks.
- Lead and motivate software engineers, set goals, and provide mentoring or coaching.
- Use technical expertise to shape the software development lifecycle.
- Provide feedback on technical design, architecture, and code changes.
- Resolve technical challenges faced by the team.
- Enhance the testing process and participate in code reviews to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Maintain project documentation and capture key learnings to inform improvements.
