Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Have 5 or more years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
- Demonstrate understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and end-to-end system design.
- Have advanced working knowledge of Java 11 and 17, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.
- Have production-level experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
- Have experience developing front-end applications with React; Angular or Vue familiarity is a plus.
- Have strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Have experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based version control workflows.
- Have deployed applications to at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrate debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments is preferred.
- Exposure to distributed system principles, including eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns, is preferred.
- Experience writing automation tests and contributing to test-driven or behavior-driven development practices is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
- Develop and maintain production-quality applications and services.
- Build responsive, component-driven front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Deploy cloud-native services and support them throughout their operational lifespan.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and developers in an Agile environment.
