- Have 8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience preferred.
- Bring experience from a large, top-tier, or highly reputable law firm.
- Have strong experience with purchase and sale, finance, and joint venture transactions.
- Demonstrate strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills.
- Be able to manage multiple matters simultaneously with limited supervision.
- Have strong client-facing communication skills.
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to client service.
- Have a law firm background; the posting specifies candidates should not come from in-house.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate transaction documents.
- Handle acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint venture matters from start to finish.
- Lead due diligence and closing processes across multiple active deals.
- Advise clients on legal and business issues tied to development and investment transactions.
- Partner with senior attorneys, clients, and counterparties to move deals forward.
- Manage sophisticated matters independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Stay current on market trends and real estate law developments affecting clients and transactions.
