Requirements
- Bring extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
- Have a track record of leading successful AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Demonstrate strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, or CircleCI.
- Have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Be familiar with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.
- Be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with data, machine learning, or AI technologies is a bonus.
- Open-source contributions and knowledge of advanced AWS services or emerging technologies are bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with customers and present solutions.
- Develop technical strategies for DevOps, migration, and modernization projects.
- Conduct Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) assessments and workshops to evaluate cloud migration readiness.
- Create level-of-effort estimates and scope-of-work documents for project planning and proposals.
- Serve as a hands-on escalation point for complex technical issues during project execution.
- Mentor team members on AWS solutions, migration strategies, and best practices.
- Lead transitions to AWS from on-premises environments.
- Design and implement AWS solutions, remaining hands-on throughout project lifecycles.
- Stay current on AWS offerings, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies.
