Job Details

Have hands-on experience engineering and operating production workloads on AWS.
Have practical experience using infrastructure as code, scripting and automation to deliver platform changes.
Have experience with containerised applications and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting operational issues.
Have experience setting up or using monitoring, logging and alerting to diagnose production problems.
Be confident investigating incidents and making safe, well-documented changes to live services.
Have a sound understanding of cloud security, networking, resilience, backup and recovery.
Work effectively with software engineers and explain technical risks and options clearly.
Take ownership of work and follow issues through to resolution.
Provide paid on-call support and respond to alerts and incidents as part of agreed arrangements.

Build, configure and maintain the AWS infrastructure and platform services used by PEXA Go.
Implement infrastructure changes through code and automation.
Deliver upgrades, technical remediation and lifecycle work, identifying dependencies and risks early.
Improve monitoring, logging and alerting across the platform.
Investigate platform incidents and service problems, help restore service and prevent recurrence.
Make safe, documented changes to live services and contribute evidence and follow-up actions to incident reviews.
Apply agreed security controls and engineering standards to infrastructure, access, configuration and platform changes.
Keep colleagues informed about progress, risks and technical options.
Share knowledge and identify practical improvements to platform operations.
