Requirements
- 5+ years of QA/manual testing across the full software development lifecycle for public-facing, customer-facing web applications.
- Experience validating applications across desktop and mobile devices, multiple browsers, and responsive breakpoints.
- 3+ years of automated testing experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar, including test architecture, reusable utilities, test data strategy, CI/CD integration, and automated functional and integration test scripts.
- 3+ years of experience validating API integrations with Swagger or Postman, or using automated API testing frameworks.
- Comfort using AI tools for test case generation, test data creation, code review, or other QA workflows.
- Prior experience mentoring or providing technical/QA leadership to QA team members, and/or release management experience.
- Ability to work in Agile or Waterfall environments and ensure acceptance criteria are testable and aligned with business requirements.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence or ADO wiki, Figma or Miro, and BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; concentration in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting preferred.
- Experience testing CMS platforms from both user and admin sides, such as Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, or Contentful.
- Experience with ADA and WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level AA compliance testing.
Responsibilities
- Own test strategy, risk-based test planning, and exit criteria for assigned projects.
- Lead functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing, and guide automated test coverage.
- Mentor QA Engineers through pairing, test asset reviews, and feedback.
- Partner with the QA Director to evaluate QA processes, procedures, tools, and AI-assisted testing approaches.
- Translate requirements, acceptance criteria, and Figma designs into testable scenarios with business analysts and developers.
- Drive defect triage, including severity and priority assignment, reproduction, verification, and regression checks.
- Document defects with reproduction steps, environment details, and expected versus actual results.
- Coordinate UAT planning with BA/PMO and client stakeholders, and support go-live readiness reporting.
- Contribute to reusable QA templates, regression suites, automation patterns, and playbooks.
- Assess where manual testing, automation, and AI-assisted tools best fit each project.
