Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience in agile software design and development for AWS Cloud.
- Ideally bring 5+ years of experience in one or more of banking, payments processing, KYC, AML, customer onboarding, UX, or data analytics.
- Have expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks; proficiency in Python, Java, and React/React Native is a significant plus.
- Bring extensive experience with deployment, release, testing, observability, and alerting principles and standards.
- Show a track record of prioritising automation to improve velocity and quality.
- Have experience creating and improving engineering standards and mentoring software engineers in design, implementation, testing, automation, code quality, and cybersecurity.
- Have experience leading engineering initiatives in close collaboration with business team members.
- Have significant experience translating business requirements into technical requirements through close business collaboration.
- Bring extensive experience developing API frameworks, zero-downtime releases, seamless rollback, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Have strong experience assessing and implementing improved development tooling and practices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of technology architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Coach engineering teams on software development and engineering process best practices.
- Write code and contribute to the development of core features and functionality.
- Work with business subject-matter experts, product designers, and other stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
- Support a robust testing practice and adherence to coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Research technologies and recommend solutions to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Work with compliance and risk team members to implement measures that safeguard sensitive financial data.
