Requirements
- Hold Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification, or equivalent.
- Have experience with Cisco ASR/ISR routers.
- Have strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
- Bring leadership experience, especially with nearshore teams.
- Be fluent in English.
- Be available for 24/7 on-call duties as Technical Lead for major incidents.
- Cisco SD-WAN Specialist certification is a nice to have.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices is a nice to have.
- Experience with Ansible/Python and CheckMK is a nice to have.
- Fluency in German is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Network Engineers in the Campus WAN area.
- Manage configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco ASR/ISR routers using BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Act as Technical Lead for major incidents and provide 24/7 on-call availability.
- Oversee Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Handle Event, Availability, Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.
- Contribute to network planning, design, architecture, installation, and component configuration.
- Optimize network performance and ensure configuration quality assurance.
- Document processes according to guidelines.
