Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Engineer, Product Analyst, or similar technical product role.
- 1-2 years of experience with AI tools.
- Proven experience working with Agile software development teams.
- Strong proficiency with Jira and modern product management software.
- Strong technical fundamentals with proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and REST/web APIs.
- Hands-on native or cross-platform iOS and Android mobile development experience.
- Familiarity with payment hardware ecosystems, including card readers, POS terminals, and kiosks.
- High fluency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted coding agents.
- Product Owner Certification (CSPO, etc.) preferred.
- Payments or fintech industry experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and build end-to-end proof-of-concept features, interactive prototypes, and technical sandboxes for desktop, iOS, Android, and payment hardware.
- Create technical specifications, wireframes, and schemas, including employee-based permission rulesets, table mapping mockups, and modifier customizations.
- Author product evaluation criteria before feature creation to validate solutions and measure success.
- Conduct direct user discovery with merchants and sales partners.
- Turn user feedback into working solutions.
- Monitor competitor release cadences and point-of-sale innovations to support rapid feature delivery.
- Use modern LLM APIs and AI coding agents for product discovery, code generation, and functional prototyping.
