Have completed at least one co-op term or have relevant professional work experience.
Be currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Have a solid foundation in Java and JavaScript.
Have some exposure to Spring and JUnit; school projects count.
Have worked with or learned about APIs.
Apply analytical thinking to connect work with its purpose and customer outcome.
Be willing to learn unfamiliar technology, including AI tools, and carefully review generated output.
Nice to have: experience with REST APIs, React, GraphQL, Groovy, JMS, or SOAP.
Nice to have: interest in iPaaS and how systems connect.

Build and improve features in Flexspring's product.
Write backend and full-stack code in Java and JavaScript.
Work with APIs and data flowing between HR systems.
Use modern tooling, including AI tools, and review its output before it ships.
Write and run tests to validate work before it reaches customers.
Collaborate with experienced developers through code reviews and team discussions.
