Requirements
- Several years of hands-on project experience in SAP data archiving and SAP ILM.
- Strong knowledge of ArchiveLink and experience working with external archiving systems.
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR (DSGVO), GoBD, HGB, and AO.
- Foundational ABAP knowledge to analyze and troubleshoot SAP archiving processes.
- Knowledge of storage technologies and database management.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- A structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills.
- A strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and reliable delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SAP data archiving concepts tailored to business and technical requirements.
- Configure and optimize SAP data archiving processes and SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR (DSGVO), GoBD, HGB, and AO.
- Implement and maintain ArchiveLink and Information Lifecycle Management solutions.
- Integrate external Document Management Systems (DMS) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.
- Define and implement custom archiving objects for proprietary SAP products.
- Manage optical archiving of documents through NAST and output management processes.
- Analyze archiving workflows, identify potential improvements, and ensure the reliability and quality of implemented solutions.
