Required Skills
SQLProduct Management

Requirements

  • Have proven experience in monetization, conversion, or growth in a freemium or self-serve B2B SaaS product, with measurable results.
  • Have past Product Management experience at a scale-up or large tech company.
  • Turn problems into testable hypotheses and design experiments with a cohort, metric, and stop criterion.
  • Analyze data end to end, including writing SQL queries, building dashboards, and interpreting results.
  • Be fluent in Amplitude or an equivalent analytics tool.
  • Be comfortable working with imperfect data and making decisions from it.
  • Bring strong user research skills and product sense to understand what makes users see enough value to upgrade.
  • Communicate in a structured way to build buy-in with squads, other PMs, and commercial teams, and talk to users regularly.
  • Navigate and simplify complex problems by breaking them into smaller parts.
  • Be willing to work beyond traditional product responsibilities when needed, including upgrade copy and lifecycle messages.
  • Nice to have: exposure to pricing and packaging, or banking and payment products.
  • Accounting experience is not required; curiosity about accounting and comfort with complexity are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Own the free-to-paid journey for SMEs, including upgrade proposals, plan upgrades, additional seats, add-ons, and Pro Account openings.
  • Develop shared paywalls, upsell moments, and upgrade guidelines across the product.
  • Define and steer product-driven upgrade and MRR outcomes, including baselines, targets, and decision rules.
  • Interview SMEs, conduct user research, and analyze data to understand why customers pay or do not pay.
  • Run monetization experiments by defining cohorts, hypotheses, metrics, and stop criteria.
  • Define OKRs and the product roadmap based on user insights and company objectives.
  • Partner with Product Designers and engineers to implement and iterate on solutions.
  • Work with product managers across invoicing, expenses, banking, and other scopes to identify upgrade moments in their flows.
  • Measure the impact of shipped work and share learnings and playbooks with other squads.
