Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience shipping production software end to end.
- Hands-on experience building AI-native applications or agents.
- Strong systems design skills, including the ability to explain components, trade-offs, and potential changes.
- Full-stack engineering capability across data, services, user interfaces, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud provider.
- Working knowledge of containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and the ability to understand, debug, and defend shipped systems.
- Ability to translate ambiguous internal stakeholder needs into requirements and deliver working software.
- Strong product judgment in defining first-release scope, prioritizing, and determining when work is done.
- Excellent written communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Experience in private markets, financial services, or another regulated, data-sensitive domain is a plus.
- Familiarity with application security, sensitive-data handling, contractual and SOC 2 obligations, and multi-tenant isolation is a plus.
- Experience with evaluation and regression testing for non-deterministic systems, event-driven architectures, or large-scale document processing is a plus.
- Client-facing, consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders across executive and business teams to identify workflows where custom agents can create leverage.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Carry solutions from prototype and stakeholder validation through hardening, deployment, and production rollout.
- Design agentic systems, including retrieval and context, tool and MCP integration, orchestration, evaluation, observability, and cost controls.
- Design event-driven, scalable systems that ingest and process large volumes of data and documents.
- Partner with platform, R&D, and product engineering teams when work touches core systems.
- Own deployed solutions through adoption, post-launch support, user-feedback iteration, and ongoing operation.
- Document solutions, train users, and manage rollouts to drive adoption.
- Set the technical bar for less experienced engineers and grow toward leading projects, including client-facing work.
