Requirements
- Implement Data Science best practices, including reproducibility, A/B testing, and ML monitoring.
- Maintain model quality across performance, drift, and latency.
- Have advanced Python skills, including pandas, sklearn, numpy, and xgboost; pytorch or tf is a plus.
- Have high-level SQL expertise, including work with large datasets and query optimization.
- Have hands-on experience with ML pipelines, orchestration such as Airflow or Prefect, and monitoring tools such as Evidently, MLflow, or Prometheus.
- Have experience with GCP and cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Understand A/B testing, causal inference, and statistics.
- Be familiar with architecture fundamentals, including APIs, data pipelines, and microservices at the integration level.
- Know distributed computation tools such as Spark or CloudRun.
- Have a proven track record deploying generative AI or NLP models.
- Have experience in startups or high-growth companies.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and develop the Data Science team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Define and execute a Data Science strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Oversee data science projects from problem formulation through deployment of models into production.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, including ROI and time-to-market.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, engineers, and C-level executives.
