Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience building SaaS products.
- Bring strong full-stack software engineering expertise.
- Have engineering leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, Director, or in a comparable role.
- Have experience building and scaling a team, ideally from the ground up.
- Be willing and able to continue writing code while guiding technical strategy and team development.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python, React, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
- Have fluent English communication skills and substantial experience collaborating with US-based teams.
- Be able to plan, prioritize, and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience with AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering workflows; this is valuable.
- Bring healthtech or revenue cycle management (RCM) experience; this is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with payer integrations, robotic process automation (RPA), large language models (LLMs), FastAPI, or LangChain is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship production-ready software features while contributing directly to the codebase and guiding technical direction.
- Own a product area end to end, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers while building and scaling the engineering team.
- Establish effective team processes and working practices.
- Lead technical execution, scope projects, and support predictable delivery aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with US-based Product and Engineering stakeholders to define solutions and deliver product improvements.
- Maintain software quality, reliability, scalability, and security in a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate software delivery while maintaining engineering standards.
