Requirements
- Have 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or business intelligence.
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and performance optimization.
- Be familiar with modern data transformation practices.
- Have hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Have experience with BI or semantic-layer tools.
- Translate quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Understand statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression analysis.
- Have basic knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows for managing analytics code.
- Nice to have: experience using dbt for analytics engineering.
- Nice to have: proficiency in Python or R for exploratory data analysis, automation, or statistical modeling.
- Nice to have: experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or PostHog.
- Nice to have: a background in agile/scrum environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Growth, Finance, and Operations leadership to identify trends, diagnose churn and growth drivers, and uncover business opportunities.
- Write clean, modular, version-controlled SQL models to transform raw data into production-ready tables.
- Design dashboards and narrative reports using BI and visualization tools.
- Establish data definitions, document metrics in a central data catalog, and maintain data accuracy, testing, and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted analytics workflows and automated pipelines to accelerate data exploration and provide real-time operational alerts.
