Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
- Proficiency with SQL, R, or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
- Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including SAFe or Scrum.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.
- Preferred: SAFe Agile Certification, GitHub, healthcare IT, HIPAA, and knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to identify inconsistencies and improve data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of APS data.
- Develop and execute automated reporting solutions that meet quality and performance standards.
- Perform statistical tests and ad hoc analysis to assess data quality and respond to stakeholder requests.
- Develop and maintain scripts, dashboards, and reports to monitor data flow and quality.
- Develop data quality policies, procedures, and standards, and document processes and recommendations.
- Collaborate with data operations, reporting teams, and other teams to improve data collection, storage, and reports.
- Present findings to business owners, customers, and leadership, and provide training to internal users and customer stakeholders.
- Peer review team members’ work and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help determine project requirements, goals, implementation, and schedules.
