Requirements
- Have extensive experience with Linux; Ubuntu is preferred.
- Have experience with Kubernetes, Ceph, and software automation.
- Have experience designing and implementing solutions on public or private clouds.
- Understand Python and Bash.
- Have troubleshooting skills.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have strong communication and presentation skills.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and reliably follow up on commitments.
- Be interested in customer-facing engagement, including pitching, demonstrating, and understanding customer environments and needs.
- Have an interest in technologies such as LXD, Juju, and Snaps.
- Be able to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
- Have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand Ubuntu, Linux, networking, and services in real-world environments.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, and Spark on-premises or in public clouds.
- Architect and integrate open-source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra, and NGINX.
- Help partners design joint solutions using Canonical technologies on public clouds and in data centers.
- Design and publish joint reference architectures.
- Perform technical validations with partners.
- Prepare and run onboarding sessions and workshops for partner teams.
