Requirements
- Hold a medical degree (MD or DO).
- Have an active, unrestricted US medical license, verified with the issuing medical board.
- Have board certification or completed residency training.
- Have recent direct patient care experience; attending-level experience is preferred.
- Bring broad, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.
- Apply strong clinical reasoning, including differential diagnosis and next-step management.
- Use evidence-based guidelines.
- Have strong written English (C1+).
- Be open to part-time, non-permanent projects.
- Be available for an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
- Meet task deadlines and listed acceptance criteria.
- Prior medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clinical EHR vignettes paired with questions, proposed answers, and distractor trap answers across diagnosis and treatment tasks.
- Review vignettes covering cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.
- Score benchmark-item vignette accuracy and completeness.
- Assess whether a vignette gives away the answer and whether answers are correct and gradeable.
- Evaluate the quality of distractor trap answers.
- Check whether reasoning reaches the answer from vignette facts alone.
- Review reasoning traces and write short rationales.
- Complete independent blind reads followed by physician adjudication.
